Residential Care Worker - Team Leader - Live out Position
You will join a thriving Residential Care Team that delivers exceptional outcomes for speech and language impaired children and young people at this Ofsted “Outstanding” rated Special School (10-16 years) and College (16-19 years).
The Head of Residential Care and Safeguarding is looking for a committed member of staff who can:
Support the Head of Residential Care and Operations Managers, ensuring the overall efficiency and effective operation of the Residential Care provision and to ensure the residential service is fully compliant with the National Minimum Care Standards and delivers outstanding outcomes for young people as defined by the Ofsted Social Care Common Inspection Framework.
As Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a team of residential care staff within the College setting with the expectation of taking responsibility for all areas as documented in the job description.
It is a requirement of all staff within the School & College to work collaboratively with colleagues from all departments and with representatives from those external agencies with whom they come into contact as part of their duties.

A relevant NVQ level 3 qualification is required - plus a commitment to undertake role specific training as required.

NVQ level 3 qualification in Children & Young People Services is essential
