Support in Numbers

Friday 3rd February saw students at Moor House celebrate Number Day in support of the NSPCC.

The purpose of Number Day is to have fun with numbers and promote a positive ‘can do’ attitude to maths whilst raising money for the children’s charity.

Students took part in different activities throughout the day, including Bingo and other fun maths activities and games, with students and staff also encouraged to ‘Dress up for digits’ by wearing a number related item of clothing such as a sport shirt or even a onesie!

We were delighted to raise a whopping £248.40 for the NSPCC’s Speak out Stay safe programme, which aims to help children understand what abuse is and what to do if they’re scared or worried.
