Teaching Verbs and Adjectives to Children With DLD

The Moor House Research and Training Institute, part of Moor House School & College, have created a series of webinars specifically aimed at helping staff in mainstream schools to support children and young people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).

The seventh webinar in this series takes place on Thursday 19th January 2023 at 1600 UK time. All the CPD webinars last for an hour and there's plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

The webinar series is very action-focused, so by the end of the sessions you will understand the different aspects of language disorder and have some clear, actionable steps, tools and strategies that you can put into place the next day. The advice and approaches are tailored to what is possible in a busy mainstream classroom and will help the children with DLD as well as typically developing peers.

The sessions are all held as twilight, one-hour sessions at 16:00 GMT which can be attended live as well as available via a full video replay.

The sessions can be attended either as single, standalone training sessions or as a whole package at a discount. Additionally, we offer a whole school licenses so all staff can attend, with a significant discount. These are also available to local authorities and NHS departments for staff training.

If you're not able to attend live, don't worry! All the training sessions will be made available as recordings afterwards, so they can be accessed at any time. Your license will guarantee you access to the replays until the end of 2023, so there's plenty of time to slot them into INSET training days, or use for CPD.

Prices start from £20 per module or £100 for all 7 for individuals and £395 for school licenses. If you join at the all webinars level, you'll also receive access to the on-demand version sessions 1 to 6 straight away.
