Abraz Inspires KS4 and College Students
As part of our build up to Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) Awareness Day on Friday 17th October, we were honoured to welcome guest speaker Abraz Hussain to Moor House to share his powerful personal journey with our KS4 and College students.
Abraz faced significant challenges growing up with DLD, but through perseverance and with the right support, today he holds a first-class degree, works as a qualified social worker, and continues to make a difference as a part-time youth worker.
Abraz spoke inspirationally about the importance of asking for help, reminding students that there is no shame in seeking support.
We’re incredibly grateful to Abraz for sharing his experience, which resonated deeply with our students. His visit was a powerful reminder of the impact understanding and support can have on young lives.
