Talk about DLD with a cup of tea
Parents and carers are invited to join us to 'TALK ABOUT DLD WITH A CUP OF TEA' as part of our parent workshop programme.
Led by Sue Marr, Specialist Teacher SLCN (DLD), the workshop will include a tour of the DLD Artwork gallery created by our students for DLD Awareness Day, and a presentation about 'Masking and DLD', how students with DLD "camouflage" their language difficulties to fit in.
If you wish to attend, please email our admin team including the names of attendees, whether you require a buffet lunch and if your child is normally collected by taxi, whether you will be taking them home afterwards (please also inform your taxi company if required).
Parent Workshops
Workshops are 1pm-2.45pm unless stated. Lunch 12.30-1pm. A buffet lunch is available prior to the workshop, which should be ordered in advance of the meeting, and all are welcome.
