A Winning Moment of Kindness

We are delighted to share some heart‑warming news from our local community.
Mrs. Wendy Hamm, a supporter of our school, recently won £250 in the Tandridge Together Lottery, and immediately chose to donate the entire amount back to us.
Her generous contribution has been kindly directed to support our College residential provision, helping us enrich the experiences of our older students.
On behalf of everyone at Moor House School & College, thank you, Wendy.
About the Tandridge Together Lottery
For those unfamiliar with the initiative, the Tandridge Together Lottery is a weekly community fundraising lottery open to local residents. A remarkable 60% of every ticket sold goes directly toward good causes in the Tandridge district, with players able to nominate a charity, such as Moor House, to receive 50p of every £1 they spend.
Tickets cost just £1 per week, and each has a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize. Every Saturday night, a six‑digit combination is drawn, with awards ranging from free extra tickets to £25,000 for matching all six numbers.
Prizes include:
- 6 matches: £25,000
- 5 matches: £2,000
- 4 matches: £250
- 3 matches: £25
- 2 matches: 3 extra tickets
Compared to national draws, the odds of winning are significantly improved, making it a fun and rewarding way to support the community.
