Open to those who have completed our SHAPE CODING part 1 course, either face to face or online, this course, now available as a two part live online workshop, provides opportunities for participants to become more confident with the coding taught in the Part 1 course to use for language intervention in a clinical or educational setting.

It would particularly suit SLTs who are new to supporting children and young people with a language disorder or other practitioners who deliver/support speech and language therapy programmes devised by SLTs.

Day 1: Thursday 30th November 2023, 0930-1300 GMT

• Revision of the SHAPE CODING™ system itself
• Adapting language for different users
• Using the SHAPE CODING™ system with other language development programmes
• Supporting the curriculum using the SHAPE CODING™ system
• Practical Assignment

Day 2: Thursday 7th December 2023, 0930-1300 GMT

• Intervention using the SHAPE CODING™ system
• What rules to teach
• How to teach rules explicitly
• Intervention and session planning
• Case Studies
• Practical Assignment

Each day there will be opportunity for discussion. 

Cost: £150 per person to cover both days.
