Runner Ellie helps Moor House hit target

A friendly runner has helped Moor House achieve its fundraising target for the London Marathon after our original entrant had to withdraw through injury.

After months of training Karen Isaac, whose son Fraser attends the school, unfortunately tore a tendon just three weeks prior to the event.

Despite many sponsors still kindly agreeing to donate, Karen’s friend Elle Mackenzie decided to go several thousand steps further by dedicating her Manchester Marathon run on October 12th to the cause.

Her generosity, and that of her supporters, helped carry us over the finishing line to our target with over £2,000 raised.

Thank-you to Karen, Elle and all their supporters.
