Moor House School

 Residential Care: Activities

Recreation plays a vital part in the learner's development. A wide range of interests is catered for and constructive activities provided. The school has its own Cub pack and pupils may join Scouts, Guides and Brownies. Children may join fitness, judo and tennis clubs, though sometimes there is a waiting list for places.  Some learners attend horse-riding sessions. Learners from the school regularly take part in the Surrey Youth Games, representing the local district. The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme operates at Bronze and Silver level, offering diverse and challenging opportunities to develop self-confidence and self-esteem.
