A full clinical assessment by a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to include:
- Expressive language, including use of grammar and vocabulary
- Receptive language, including understanding of grammar and vocabulary
- Pragmatics/social use of language
- Phonology speech screen
- Literacy screen - phonological awareness
- A short informal language assessment, including language sample and interview
- Observation of Communication Skills - nonverbal and verbal.
- Brief discussion with therapist based on Parental Questionnaire previously completed.
- Brief clinical feedback session with parents, including an explanation of formal assessments and the predicted content of the assessment report
- A full clinical report (12 pages)
