Moor House School is a nationally recognised centre of excellence for students with significant speech, language and communication impairments. The school provides a differentiated mainstream curriculum to students aged 7 to 16 within an extended curriculum.

RESIDENTIAL CARE WORKER 31.5 hours per week (Maternity cover - Autumn Term initially)
Applications are invited for the above post, where you will be an integral part of the Residential Care Department. An NVQ 3 qualification is preferred, although full training and continued professional development is available for permanent positions. A full, clean driving licence is also necessary. This position requires collaborative working within a multi-disciplinary team and such working should be student focused.
As a RCW you will Key-work a group of students within this very Special School. You will be responsible for ensuring a continued high quality of care that meets the requirements of the National Minimum Standards and Ofsted Care Inspectorate. Alternate Sunday evenings and regular Sleeping -in duties are an expectation of this post.
Salary within NJC spine points 20 to 22 plus Outer Fringe and sleeping in allowances.
