Year 11 to St Marys
On Tuesday 20th May 2008 the Moor House students who are leaving this July and going to St Marys went to their Moving on Day at the College.
It was a very successful day and the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they were integrated with students from other schools who will be joining them in September.
There was a full programme of activities organized by the college, including a question and answer session, presentations by current students, taster lessons ,a walk around the college to see accommodation and an orientation course.
At the end of the day our students felt far more confident and relaxed about moving on.
We had a very slow drive back due to a major road closure so we stopped for Fish and Chips and finally arrived back at school at 7.30pm! All tired, but happy!
