Moor House School

December Snow at Moor House School

After the end of term festivities on Thursday all the students headed home for the holidays - and just in time too, because by Friday morning freezing weather had laid a blanket of snow across much of the country, blocking roads and causing widespread disruption.

While things must have been rather frustrating for people who had to struggle to get to work, everyone else had a perfect opportunity to enjoy the winter wonderland with sledging and snowballs.

At Moor House the snow was 15cm deep; the scenery was very beautiful yet also slightly alien, as you will see from the photos below (look out for the ever-so-slightly wonky snowman).

Enjoy the wintry weather, but make sure you wrap up... and hopefully you'll get to return home to a warm fire (or radiator!) afterwards. See you back at school next term.
