3DM's trip to the Science Museum
On Thursday 7th Feb 2008, 3DM traveled to London to visit the Science Museum. We started our journey from Hurst Green Station at 8.45 am.
We traveled by train to London Victoria where we bought our lunch from a sandwich shop. We then had to catch a tube train to get to South Kensington where the Science Museum is.
Our first stop at the museum was the IMAX 3D cinema. We had to wear these funny glasses to make the film look real!

We found out all about life under the sea, and quite a few of us jumped when a giant squid came out of the darkness!! It was awesome!!
After the film, we went into the Launch-pod where we could try lots of different things, such as
Listening to music through a straw covered copper wire!!
Some of us tried cycling fast to generate enough power to make a video camera work.

While some of us relaxed and played with bubbles!!

We had so much fun finding out about light, sound and electricity by using all the different equipment at the Science Museum

We even found out how Mr Newton discovered electricity

Here are a few comments of what we thought of our trip and some of our favourite parts.
